For those of us who are not lucky enough to have a pool, I saw this post on Domino about turning a metal stock tank into a pool. I thought it was so cute.
We don't have a pool at our complex. Like many small complexes around the same age, our pool was covered over and is now the dog park.
If I had room I would definitely try this.
Very cute but I would not want to be in charge of keeping water clean and safe.
ReplyDeleteI love this! A few summers back we bought a kiddie pool for our patio. We bought it for the dog. She wouldn't get in she thought it meant bath time. It was funny. So Rick and I put on our suits, made a margarita and sat in our pool on a very hot August day. The neighbors laughed but then later when it hit 100 degrees they asked if they could join us.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's very nicely accessorized and landscaped in that photo.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWe have a pool at our park but it seldom gets used. A couple of folks use it pretty regular but that's about it. But this a cute idea. Misadventures is so right - pools are a whole lot of work.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! But, boy would the water be hot, especially painted black it would absorb all the sun.
ReplyDeleteI use to see those stock tanks all the time in cow country Florida and wondered, why not?
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little pool; just enough to cool off in.
ReplyDeleteA mini oasis. That would be nice to have, at least until it needed cleaning. 😎
