My Son rented a house in Galveston for a couple of days. Each Grandgirl took a friend, Son & DIL, J&M, and I took Bonnie Rae. It was crisp, cold, and windy. Perfect beach walking weather unless you prefer 110 degrees, which I did not. I forgot how much I loved beach walking. Weekend at the beach with the whole family - Priceless.

ReplyDeleteI am now having serious Beach Envy!!! There's nothing quite like walking along a Beach, even if you never get into the Water. I could Beachcomb all day long and never tire of it. We only lived near the Beach a few times in Life Travels. Once on Cape Cod, very near the Ocean and Beach. In Europe, since Great Britain is an Island Nation after all. And in Michigan right by a couple of the Great Lakes, which are like Oceans they're so big. I've visited the East and West Coasts and the Pacific and Atlantic are so different. I've been to Hawaii on a couple of Islands there, fabulous yet I don't know if I could live permanently on an Island? I've been to the Beaches of Mexico. No. One on my Bucket List is still Bora Bora.
