Be Prepared

I ordered puppy pads, batteries, and toilet paper yesterday.  Heading to the grocery tomorrow.  New Orleans is as close as I want the Hurricanes to get but BE PREPARED.  That's all I have to say.

  2. Know the feeling. As long as you are prepared, you aren't scared--my motto when living in Florida. Stay safe,

  5. Did y'all get any of the remnants? We got a good bit of rain and some semi-heavy winds earlier this week. Just a pittance of what poor Louisiana and Mississippi got, and now also the Northeast.

  6. Greetings from the Northeast: living where the thick of it came through, 7 inches of rain. Could have been alot worse; much of the water went into ground - during july and august, not alot of rain ... even the weeds had appeared thirsty. Yes, some flooded creeks and downed trees, but this area is okay.

  7. Hope you're doing okay. I have a friend near Houston that said the storm skirted them, so I'm guessing you're alright.
