I ordered puppy pads, batteries, and toilet paper yesterday. Heading to the grocery tomorrow. New Orleans is as close as I want the Hurricanes to get but BE PREPARED. That's all I have to say.
Did y'all get any of the remnants? We got a good bit of rain and some semi-heavy winds earlier this week. Just a pittance of what poor Louisiana and Mississippi got, and now also the Northeast.
Greetings from the Northeast: living where the thick of it came through, 7 inches of rain. Could have been alot worse; much of the water went into ground - during july and august, not alot of rain ... even the weeds had appeared thirsty. Yes, some flooded creeks and downed trees, but this area is okay.
Always.
ReplyDeleteYou are a seasoned weather aficionado, Barbara! Pun intended. Stay safe.

ReplyDeleteHope you're doing okay. I have a friend near Houston that said the storm skirted them, so I'm guessing you're alright.
